They should smooth the walls out inside. I pay the extra the inside Guves jail vibes I feel trapped and old homes vibes that collect dust those wall will trap lots of dust bugs and dirt the inside you be smooth especially if you have young children who dirty walls quick

It was very nice of Habitat to go out on a limb to give this prototype a go. And nice that they have the resources and TLC to finish it as they did.
why not finish the inside walls, they are just dust collectors ,and the gaps around the door jams are just ugly for sure .
Why not skim coat smooth those layers?

Overcoming is a grand and glorious experience. I join the brother who thanked you Jarett Gross for the great works you are doing building bridges of understanding. Those fabulous new homeowners, when they get old, will sit back in their house with the joy and comfort of knowing "we were the first in town to have a 3d printed house – now everyone has one" Yes – not only do we have solutions – we have the balls to use them. They are living in the game-changing future THIS IS CONCRETE!!!! Do people realize how amazing this is???? Finally technology is accepted. I've waited 25 years 25 YEARS and I still do not own a home much less a printed one. ENJOY PROMOTE AND ENJOY you are sitting on opportunity all day long.

I think that I would only leave the layer texture on the outside, but have the inside walls finished (flattened). I think it would make it much easier to paint the walls or just even to clean them. Maybe I'd only leave a couple of spots inside where the texture is visible as accents, but the rest of the walls flat.

So impressive! I hope I live long enough to find out how well they are doing after they are not new anymore. I have always disliked stick built houses even as a child, stone appealed, later I learned to love poured concrete, and I look forward to seeing the printed house get more and more artistic. Thank you for what you do.

Sorry but the walls are a mess with bunching and gaping. Way to much texturing EVERYWHERE . Anywhere the hopper was interrupted causes an unsightly blemish . The nozzle needs to have some kind of scraper attachment to immediately smooth out the concrete behind the applicator . No Thank you . Yuck
