i am getting redundant loops error while creating shutoff surfaces in this exercise, any solution?
After having a look at it i figured in mine i had two circular edges highlighted for each button why is it?

You saved the day. I have an instructor (I use the word loosely) assigning projects in sw but we were never taught to use it, only inventor. This one in particular is pretty difficult for us noobs. hi, my model did not automatically select the correct loops (it selected some redundant and contact loops) do you know whether it could be one of the settings in solidworks that makes it do that. i have repeated this tutorial several times in order to make sure i have not missed/did any steps incorrectly.
