  1. Thank you so much for this information. It has taken a load of stress off of me and saved us lost of money:)

  2. When is the best time to send out save the date? And also the wedding Invitations do yo send those out five months before the wedding

  3. I know this is an old video and I did not diy my invitations but I was able to put together 130 for $150 not including postage (the postage should be standard forever stamps, not extra). There are some great deals online, so I bought the invites and return cards from an online invite shop. They came with large envelopes. Then, I bought little envelopes on Amazon for $10 and DIYed the information card. They are not the fanciest but I thought they came out nice and I was happy not to break the bank on them.

  4. We are making our Save the Date cards and in between the paper layers is a magnet so it will stick to the fridge. I’m trying to figure out how to let guests know without having the tacky “I’m a magnet!” Sticker or card. I’m thinking since our website will be on the cards I should make a comment there. Do you have any ideas on how I can get the message across to my guest. We were also thinking of making a small business card with the invitations with the date, time and location to keep handy in their wallets or purses. Is this something that is usually done?

  5. Quick question how would you approach letting your guest know that your venue is 3 hours away. Would that be considered a destination wedding since it pretty far. I thought about a passport idea invitation. Would it be considered destination or no I probably would not be.

  6. How do you feel about paperless invites for a wedding? Is this a good idea or not a good place to cut budget?

  7. Where did you get your card stock from and how did your print them? Did you go to a staples or did you do it at home from your printer?

  8. Do you have to have a special printer for the color to turn out right? I want to print my own with colored flowers on it, but I still want it to look elegant. Thanks in advance!

  9. Do you have a suggestion for an affordable way to print these? My home printer won't take cardstock, and im not sure if its more affordable to purchase a new printer or just order invites???

  10. You can use a tape runner or tearing tape and it will do the same thing as your double-sided tape without having to worry about pressing down so hard take it from someone who makes greeting cards for a living

  11. This is a great video-thanks for sharing! How did you get color the flowers on the last ones? Was that with a colored printer or painted?

  12. I've been incredibly lucky with my invites. I'm arty so had the supplies to draw/paint a design that's personal to us. My partner is a computer wiz so he did all the digital stuff. He's also a teacher with free printing so that's how we printed. Only thing we've had to pay for is a job lot of envelopes and 2nd class stamps 😁 I'm so excited

  13. Could you please do a video about destination weddings? I know you did one in Hawaii, which was more vlog style. I really love your videos and advice, and would love to hear your thoughts and opinions. (not going to lie, going to paste this in the next 3 videos of yours that I watch.) Also, I love you, and you're amazing and would love for you to plan my wedding when/if it happens.

  14. I can't wait for my wedding, (tho not engaged) but full disclosure, I'm not near as fancy as you 😂 I'ma just print cute designs on nice paper and call it a DAY… probably cut them by hand for a more rustic look .o.

  15. Bless! These were so cute & im really glad I found this vid since I’m planning on doing my own invites. (:

  17. Can you do one on all the different items that can go in invitations! Which ones are needed etc?

  19. These don't look that great…. But good concepts overall, just hit or miss execution.
