  1. I have tried everything suggested and nothing has worked. I have disconnected it from network (3 times over 2 days I unplugged the router, confirmed there is no internet, left printer unplugged overnight, tried a different outlet for the printer, everything that was suggested) and each time I plug the printer back in again, it does the same thing. Constant reboot, constant power cycle, says "Canon" and none of the menu buttons will respond. So I am unable to get into the menus even though printer is not connected to Wifi or the internet in any way.  What else can I try?

    Edit:I thought it was fixed but as soon as I tried to print it started turning on and off again. I even tried to do the firmware update but it said that I had the lates version.

  5. I’m trying this right now and if it works you are my hero!! Thank you so much for this. Canon has been NO help at all!! Horrible customer service and zero service for those of us with a printer over a year old! What a shiesty way to make money! I will never buy another Canon product.

  6. Well great… After giving my printer a good @$$ kicking, this was all I had to do?! I'm going to try this out, but I might have done some damage haha!! it's ok, I needed an upgrade anyway.

  7. Thanks so much it worked on my Canon E480. Had this problem for about a week. Additional notes: The IP address was still displaying in settings so I just accepted it and clicked OK. I sent something to print, took about 15 minutes but worked. Sent another page and went out. About an hour or so later came back, page had printed and msg on printer screen that latest firmware had been updated. Thank You!
