  1. Some great tips there but just one thing.
NO COOLING FOR ABS. Not an absolute rule, but in general, using any fan at all greatly increases the risk of contraction, warping, and delamination. Instead of using a fan, simply slow down the printing speed. This way, the ABS spends more time above it's glass transition temperature after being extruded, and this reduces warping as well as reducing the risk of delamination. Similarly, printing ABS at the highest temperature you can, without causing too much stringing, will again help to prevent warping and delamination.
Hope these ABS tips help someone. It took me a while to learn these lessons!

  2. The slicer that came with my ender 3 only has so many options. Yours seemed to be much more detailed and has more control. What slicer do you use?

  3. Thank you so much for the hints and tips! I have a entry level machine and by just adjusting the movement time and the Z-jump, I printed much higher quality in a way less amount of time. My latest print was initially a 7 hour print and after adjust just the 2 settings I already saw my time come down to 5 hours.

Next up will be the fan and then trying outer wall settings!!!

    Keep up the great work!!!

  4. is tsh settings working with jg maker artist d pro ? cuz i have a big problem the support not sticking well idk why

  5. I have come to the conclusion i just suck at 3d printing… i have a brand new CR5 pro high temp and never has worked great for me. Sucks oh well

  6. I think a lot of what determines print quality is how well the printer is put together. When I was putting mine together, I remember watching a setup tutorial on YouTube where the guy explained how you want to make sure all the bars and everything are leveled and showing equal distances from each other at the top and at the bottom before tightly screwing things in place. I think just making sure everything is as perfectly symmetrical and exactly where parts need to be is greatly important. I feel like I was lucky to have ran across that video when putting my printer together because it helped me catch some of those small details I would've never thought of, and honestly think because of those, my print quality has been extremely good, especially considering I almost hardly change any of the settings from default in cura.

  7. Bro this actually worked it looks like a mold now to string FAST and no glue needed to stick No print lines Thank you.

  8. what software are you using to edti these settings? I have an ender 3 and I don't know how to get those. Also, how do you make them apply to the machine, is it by SD?

  9. Properly calibrated pressure advance and Input shaper on klipper firmware makes wonderful quality prints at high speeds. Currently printing at 150mm/s print speed and 7k acceleration with zero defects on a benchy! A note to add klipper may not be for everyone as it can be challenging to setup but once setup the countless hours spent fine tuning the printer will be well worth it!

  10. OMG, you might have just cracked the layer inconsistency issue for me (I'm using "lift z", which I rarely did before, don't know why I have it), fingers crossed, I'll test now 😀

  11. OMG ! Thank you, it is the first time I heard about z hop ! I used it all the time on my ender 3 since I saw it dragged sometime on the print but have worse layer since then. I will happily deactivate it and go back to good print. ❤

    Also, I want your book

  12. Thanks for sharing! All great info, I also had seen the Z hop delete video. I have reduced the Z hop to 0.02 And slow down retraction as per another video. It made things better.
